"Zummi Makes it Hot" is the second segment of the second episode of Adventures of the Gummi Bears. It premiered on September 21, 1985, alongside "The Sinister Sculptor".
Plot[]
The Gummies are nearly out of Gummiberry Juice, so Grammi needs to make more. But the spigot is stuck, so Zummi, Grammi, Cubbi, and Cavin journey to the pumping station to fix the problem.
But they discover that the pumping station is near a maritime boundary that separates Dunwyn and Drekmore – where Duke Igthorn and his Ogres live.
They only have four bottles of Gummiberry Juice left, that's one for each of them. Can they fix the problem and get back home safely to Gummi Glen without being noticed by the Ogres?

Trivia[]
- The episode establishes that Gummiberry Juice only works on humans once a day; a fact that seems to be contradicted by the events of the pilot episode, where it appears that Cavin gains superhuman strength twice in the same day.
- The episode also establishes Zummi's acrophobia, his fear of heights.
- The illustrated storybook Zummi's Magic Spell (and audio tape/record) from the Disney Read-Along series, is based on this episode.
